I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember and more recently a pretty horrendous sugar addiction resulting in me feeling generally unwell and falling asleep at my desk at 10am.

Katherine suggested metabolic balance to me, explained the programme and held my hand through the first few days and weeks. I convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to stick to something so regimented – eating three meals a day with no snacks. But it was surprisingly easy and what surprised me even more was that I genuinely wasn’t hungry between meals! I saw results every week on the scales which motivated me to keep going. The difference in my energy levels, well being, sleeping patterns and mood swings has been amazing. Having a prescribed list of foods to choose from encouraged me to try new things and get creative in the kitchen. I knew that if I allowed myself to get bored I would slip back into bad habits. My new found energy has resulted in me joining a gym and learning to swim!

Metabolic balance is a truly fantastic way to improve your health, feel great and have more energy. So far I’ve lost one and a half stone and I’m now at a weight that I never thought I would reach. Losing the last stone doesn’t fill me with fear as I know I’ll get there very soon with Katherine’s support and guidance. Friends and family comment on how well I look and I feel the best I’ve ever felt, I turn 40 in a few months and look forward to looking and feeling the best I ever have.
