Nutritional Therapist

I have always been interested in nutrition and good health, and several years ago decided to leave a successful career in sales and marketing and go back to school to develop what was rapidly becoming an all-consuming hobby. For three years I trained in London at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition founded by the renowned Patrick Holford and qualified in 2007.

I am also a member of the following professional bodies:

I abide by a strict code of ethics in clinical practice and am a full member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy), the professional body for nutritional therapy practitioners. I am also currently their regional coordinator.

Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC) is the Professional Standards Council for Nutritional Therapy, developing education and training standards for the profession.

The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) Registration Scheme is supported by the Department of Health. It is designed to enable applicants to demonstrate that their training and experience meets the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for their profession.
